Sales Engineer

What will I be doing?

• Assist the Sales team with technical aspects of proposals and presentations tailored for different verticals.
• Have the ability to present to customer stakeholders at all levels
• Participate in pre-sales meetings to understand customer challenges within their regional context and propose relevant solutions.
• Participate in RFIs, RFPs, and similar pre-sale instances
• Own the technical relationship with PSPs gateways and partners we’re connected with, and help identify capabilities and commercial opportunities
• Develop a strong understanding of the company’s sales methodology and metrics.
• Ability to translate technical information into sales narratives for Sales, AMs, TAMs and other teams to have a clear understanding of the project and solutions required
• Project Manage delivery across internal areas such as Tax, Fraud Prevention, CS, Ops, TAM, Treasury, Compliance & Legal.
• Constantly evaluate areas for improvement in the sales process and makes recommendations to drive efficiency and revenue

What skills do I need?

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
• +3 years of experience in similar positions.
• Experience in working and understanding APIs, with the capability of explaining them to third parties.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs.
• Passion for customer success and deep interest in understanding client needs.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build effective relationships with customers and work effectively with them.
• Excellent analytical, technical, problem-solving and project management skills.
• Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple activities and projects at the same time.
• Experience in payments is a plus.
• Ability to write and speak other languages is a plus.
• Comfortable working across time zones and collaborating globally.
