DevOps Engineer (AWS)

 We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our innovative team and contribute to the modernization of our internal CI/CD platform.

This role involves building reusable workflows with GitHub Actions, automating solutions for scalable and secure software delivery, and driving pipeline governance within a cloud-based infrastructure powered by AWS.

Responsibilities

• Improve the CI/CD platform by establishing consistency, enabling automation, and focusing on scalability
• Build reusable GitHub Actions workflows and define standardized pipeline patterns
• Automate and migrate legacy on-premises CI infrastructure, including VMs and runners, to AWS using Terraform
• Enhance onboarding processes and establish visibility through dashboards and usage insights
• Evaluate, integrate, and operationalize tools like SonarQube Enterprise for quality and security metrics
• Collaborate across engineering teams to design scalable, secure, and developer-friendly platform models
• Partner with internal stakeholders to troubleshoot existing challenges, gather feedback, and propose solutions
• Communicate progress and demonstrate updates regularly to stakeholders and end-users

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience with CI/CD systems with a focus on GitHub Actions
• Proficiency with Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code tools
• Strong scripting and automation skills using Python and Bash
• Working knowledge of AWS and cloud-native infrastructure
• Familiarity with pipeline governance practices and secure software delivery methodologies
• Strong problem-solving skills with a customer-centric mindset
• Excellent verbal communication skills in English for presenting work and cross-functional collaboration
• Ability to independently take initiative and drive end-to-end improvements in an engineering-led environment

Nice to have

• Background in migrating on-premises infrastructure to AWS cloud
• Familiarity with SonarQube or similar code analysis tools
• Working knowledge of Linux environments
• Understanding of reusable developer workflows, golden paths, or platform engineering
• Experience managing and analyzing CI/CD architecture across large-scale setups with thousands of repositories
