Finance Functional Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Systems Architect D365 Functional Finance Architect to lead and innovate in the design, configuration, and implementation of D365 Finance solutions. You will optimize financial and business processes in multi-entity environments, collaborating with cross-functional teams to align solutions with financial, compliance, and business objectives. This remote role may occasionally require travel to one of our multiple U.S. offices, offering an exciting opportunity to contribute to solutions that make a meaningful impact on communities worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the functional architecture of financial solutions within Dynamics 365 Finance, conducting fit-gap analyses and defining accounting rules for multi-entity integration.
• Optimize financial processes in core accounting areas like General Ledger and Accounts Payable for compliance with GAAP, IFRS, and revenue recognition.
• Oversee the lifecycle of finance-related projects, ensuring solutions are strategically aligned and compliant.
• Design complex financial reports using D365 Management Reporter and Power BI, developing operational dashboards for multi-entity requirements.
• Serve as the functional liaison between finance, operations, and IT, translating business requirements into technical specifications.
• Mentor junior finance analysts and conduct training sessions to maximize D365 Finance capabilities.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Extensive experience designing and deploying D365 Finance modules in multi-entity setups, with deep expertise in General Ledger and Budgeting.
• Deep understanding of accounting principles and regulatory compliance, ensuring system configurations adhere to standards.
• Proficiency in D365's Management Reporter and Power BI for advanced analytics solutions.
• Experience managing end-to-end projects within D365 Finance, utilizing Agile methodologies and tools like Azure DevOps.
• Familiarity with integrating D365 Finance with other enterprise applications using Microsoft’s integration tools.
• Strong communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement and technical specification development.
• Microsoft certifications in Dynamics 365 Finance, such as Finance Functional Consultant Associate, are preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with Microsoft’s technology stack, including Power Platform and Azure services.
• Experience with multi-entity consolidations and complex financial reporting modules.
