Senior Email Designer

Job Description:

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and creative Senior Email Designer. This role is responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and executing visually stunning and effective email campaigns that drive engagement, conversions, and brand consistency. The ideal candidate must have a keen eye for detail, a deep understanding of email marketing best practices, and a passion for delivering exceptional user experiences within the inbox. This is a full-time, 9-5 EST position requiring a proactive and collaborative individual who can thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Translate marketing objectives and brand guidelines into compelling and innovative email designs, including newsletters, promotional campaigns, transactional emails, and automated flows.
• Produce pixel-perfect, responsive email templates and design assets that render flawlessly across various email clients and devices.
• Utilize Figma as the primary design tool to create wireframes, mockups, and final designs, ensuring efficient collaboration and version control.
• Maintain and evolve email design systems and guidelines to ensure consistent brand representation across all email communications.
• Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, adhering to deadlines and prioritizing tasks effectively.

Required Experience and Qualifications:

• Proven experience (typically 5+ years) as an Email Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing high-quality email design work.
• Expert proficiency in Figma is essential.
• Strong understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first approaches for email.
• Excellent visual design skills with a keen eye for typography, layout, color theory, and imagery.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Preferred Skills:
• Familiarity with email marketing platforms and analytics tools.
• Understanding of HTML/CSS for email development.
• Experience in A/B testing and optimization strategies.
