Site Reliability Engineer

About The Role

With tens of millions of visitors every week, we strive to be the best in the industry for our users. You’ll be responsible for taking ownership of our existing and new Infrastructure, deploying and releasing into new regions as we expand Globally and you'll be working with an International team!

Your Day-to-day

• Planning and securely deploying into new regions
• Improving all aspects of our AWS infrastructure
• Monitoring all releases making sure they're smooth
• Managing multiple K8s clusters
• Searching new tech, and having the opportunity to implement them with the team
• Our stack: AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, Prometheus, Grafana, Security, Python etc

You should apply if you have

• 4+ years experience in a SRE or DevOps position, or if you're a Software Engineer looking to transition then that's also grear!
• You're a veteran in AWS technologies
• Experience deploying and releasing into new regions
• You've managed multiple Kubernetes clusters in commercial environments
• Sporty is an English speaking working environment, so we are looking for English speakers

Our interview process involves 3 main stages:

• Hackerrank test (Maximum of 90 minutes)
• A call with a member of our Talent team
• Final interview with our SRE team (You’ll meet with 3 engineers on separate occasions for 45 minutes each)
