About the role

Data Engineers at Shopify build and manage the massive (MASSIVE!) data infrastructure that powers commerce through foundational work on product analysis, dashboards, merchant-facing data products, and everything in between. 

By designing data models and pipelines that scale, our data engineers unlock insights that protect future product development and enable us to always build a few steps ahead. Whether embedded with a product team, or part of a central data engineering group, your work will matter to merchant success and create seamless, data-informed commerce experiences for millions around the globe.
