Senior Project Manager

 

Roles and Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee Agile Scrum projects to deliver high-quality web applications within the PHP/Laravel and Vue.js tech stack.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables aligned with business objectives.
• Facilitate sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Track and monitor project progress through metrics such as sprint velocity, burndown charts, and issue tracking.
• Identify roadblocks, risks, and dependencies, and proactively implement mitigation strategies.
• Prioritize project requirements and tasks based on business value and impact.
• Ensure effective communication across teams, keeping stakeholders informed of project status and progress.
• Utilize tools like Jira and Slack to plan, monitor, and report on project development and issue resolution.
• Maintain an organized and efficient project roadmap, ensuring on-time delivery.
• Foster collaboration among developers, designers, and product owners to maintain alignment on project goals.
• Continuously assess and improve project management processes for greater efficiency and quality.

Job Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in project management, with at least 3 years in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Proven experience managing software development projects involving PHP/Laravel and Vue.js (or other JavaScript frameworks).
• Strong ability to identify technical risks, constraints, and interdependencies.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Hands-on experience with project management tools such as Jira for tracking progress, issues, and reporting.
• Demonstrated ability to motivate and lead cross-functional teams to deliver results.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time, within scope, and with high quality.
• Certification in Agile or Scrum methodologies (e.g., Scrum Master, PMP, PMI-ACP) is preferred.
• Ability to think strategically, solve problems creatively, and adapt to changing project dynamics.
• Familiarity with software development lifecycle processes and modern tech stacks.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
