In your day-to-day, you will 👇🏼

As a Junior Financial Analyst, you would be working inside of the Finance team at Athyna, managed by our Head of Finance. It would mean that you would be responsible for analyzing financial data, conducting payroll duties for internal employees as well as external talents and preparing reports to assist with business decision-making.

Responsibilities would include:

• Assist with budgeting and monthly close processes.
• Analyze financial data and create reports to identify trends and patterns that can be used to improve business performance.
• Onboard our clients and talents into different platforms.
• Process payroll for employees and external talents.
• Maintain accurate records of payroll transactions and prepare related reports.
• Respond to payroll-related inquiries from employees and the Customer Success team when it comes to our external talents.
• Assist with both AR and AP processes.
• Provide support to senior analysts and management as needed.
• Perform ad hoc duties and project work as required.

The Successful Applicant 🙋🏻

• English at a near-native level (oral and written).
• 6-12 months experience in financial planning, analysis, and modelling.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• Ability to present financial information to a non-financial audience.
• Working knowledge of financial strategies.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, or Google Sheets and other financial software.
• Strong analytical problem-solving skills, attention to detail and project management skills.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic startup environment; you’ll have guidance when you need it, but you’re also goal-oriented and can execute independently.
• Ability to adapt to changing business priorities and environment.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to collaborate and assist whenever, wherever needed.
