Role Description

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Head of Business Development to join our team. This senior role is crucial for driving our outbound sales efforts and expanding our client base. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in developing and executing successful outbound strategies for professional services companies. 

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive outbound sales strategies to drive business growth. 
  • Lead and manage the outbound sales team, providing guidance, training, and support.  Recruit key talent as needed. 
  • Identify and target potential clients and understand their needs. 
  • Utilize social selling techniques to engage with prospects and nurture leads. 
  • Collaborate with marketing, inbound, sales and other departments to align outbound efforts with overall business goals. 
  • Monitor and analyze sales metrics to measure effectiveness and adjust strategies as needed. 
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to ensure competitive advantage. 

Requirements

  • 3+ years of proven experience in a senior outbound sales role, preferably within professional services companies (bonus for experience with product/software development and/or staff augmentation). 
  • Strong understanding of outbound sales strategies and techniques. 
  • Professional fluency in English, both written and spoken. 
  • Familiarity with social selling concepts and tools. 
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.

  • Ability to manage multiple competing projects at various levels of scale
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills (English is the company’s primary language).
  • A go-getter attitude with a startup mentality and a strong data-driven approach.
