Who You Are 

  • Experience: 10+ years of experience in sales or business development, with a strong preference for experience in payments, fintech, or blockchain industries.
  • Leadership: Proven track record of leading sales teams to meet and exceed revenue targets in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of Cross-border Payments: Strong understanding of cross-border payments, blockchain technology, and local payment rails in Latin America.
  • Relationship Management: Ability to cultivate strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders, with a customer-centric approach to sales.
  • Strategic Thinker: Ability to develop and execute sales strategies that align with overall business objectives.
  • Results-Oriented: Demonstrated ability to meet ambitious revenue goals and contribute to company growth.
  • Collaboration: Strong cross-functional leadership, working closely with other departments to drive sales initiatives.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex solutions to C-level clients.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze market trends, sales data, and performance metrics to inform business decisions and experience with CRM tools (Hubspot preferred) 
  • Languages: Fluency in English and Spanish, Portuguese is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with blockchain technology, stablecoins, and emerging payment technologies.
  • Experience in scaling sales operations in a startup or high-growth company.
  • MBA or advanced degree in business, finance, or a related field

What You Will Do 

  • Sales Strategy Development: Define and execute the overall sales strategy for Bitso Business, aligning with the company’s objectives for revenue growth and market expansion.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing sales team, providing guidance on best practices, pipeline management, and account development.
  • Business Development: Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and client prospects to expand Bitso Business’s presence in target markets.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop deep knowledge of Bitso Business’s products and solutions to effectively communicate the value proposition to clients, ensuring solutions meet client needs.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, product, operations and legal teams to ensure sales strategies align with product development and compliance requirements.
  • Market Analysis: Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to adjust sales strategies and identify areas for growth.
  • Revenue Management: Set and manage sales targets, forecast revenue, and track sales performance, reporting regularly to senior management.
  • Cross-border Payments Expertise: Leverage your understanding of cross-border payment solutions, real-time payment systems (PIX, SPEI, SEPA), and blockchain to deliver innovative solutions to clients.
  • Customer Onboarding: Ensure a seamless experience for new clients by coordinating with internal teams (Middle Office, KYC, Legal) to accelerate the onboarding process and API integrations.
