What you'll do

As a Product Analyst specializing in Data Business Intelligence at TRACTIAN, you will play a crucial role in optimizing our maintenance software solutions. Your primary responsibility will be to extract, analyze, and interpret complex data to uncover actionable insights. You will contribute significantly to enhancing the user experience, improving product performance, and guiding product development decisions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth data analysis on maintenance software usage, performance, and user behavior, utilizing advanced data analysis techniques.
• Define, track, and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of our maintenance software.
• Identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement through comprehensive data exploration.
• Analyze user interactions and feedback to gain insights into how customers utilize the software and identify areas for improvement.
• Plan and execute A/B tests and experiments to evaluate the impact of new features and changes on user behavior and software performance.
• Create detailed reports, data visualizations, and dashboards to communicate insights and recommendations to cross-functional teams.
• Ensure data accuracy and quality through data validation processes and data quality checks.
• Conduct competitive analysis to stay informed about industry trends and benchmark our maintenance software against competitors.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Product Analyst or similar role with a focus on data analysis.
• Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages, such as SQL and Python.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools and techniques.
• Experience with software product analytics tools (e.g., PostHog, FullStory, Mixpanel, Amplitude, or similar).
• Solid understanding of maintenance software and the ability to translate technical insights into actionable recommendations.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented approach to data analysis.
• Strong communication skills to effectively convey complex insights to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.

Bonus Points

• Experience with maintenance software or CMMS (Condition Monitoring Management System).
• Knowledge of machine learning and predictive analytics.
• Previous experience with A/B testing and experimentation.
• Certifications in data analysis or related fields.
• Contributions to open-source projects or data-related publications.
