Responsibilities
- Craft and execute advanced on-page SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings, increase click-through rates (CTR), and enhance user experience.
- Perform comprehensive keyword research to identify high-value target keywords and integrate them strategically into on-page elements.
- Lead the optimization of meta tags, including meta titles, meta descriptions, and header tags, aligning them with user intent and industry best practices.
- Collaborate closely with content creators to ensure that on-page content is optimized for target keywords, readability, and semantic relevance.
- Analyze and optimize internal linking structures to distribute link equity effectively and enhance user navigation.
- Implement schema markup and structured data to enhance search engine understanding of our content, resulting in enriched search results.
- Lead efforts to optimize website load speed and mobile responsiveness for optimal user experience and improved search rankings.
- Perform regular on-page audits to identify and rectify technical issues that might hinder search engine crawlers or user experience.
- Stay updated with the latest on-page SEO trends and algorithm changes, adapting strategies to align with evolving search engine requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Computer Science, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience as an On-Page SEO Specialist, demonstrating a track record of achieving tangible results.
- Proficiency in utilizing on-page SEO tools such as Screaming Frog, Moz, SEMrush, and Google Search Console to perform comprehensive analysis.
- In-depth understanding of HTML, CSS, and website architecture as they pertain to on-page SEO optimization.
- Proven ability to conduct keyword research and develop data-driven on-page optimization strategies.
- Experience with content management systems (CMS) and the ability to implement on-page changes independently.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights to enhance on-page performance.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and articulate on-page SEO strategies to non-technical stakeholders.
Bonus Points
- Google Analytics and Google Ads certifications.
- Experience with A/B testing and user experience optimization to drive on-page conversion rates.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript) to implement advanced on-page SEO enhancements.
- Prior experience with international or multilingual on-page SEO strategies.
- Contributions to on-page SEO publications, blogs, or industry forums.
