Technical Account Executive

Resend is growing its sales motion for more than 4 million developers and new paying customers. The Technical Account Executive will join the Buyer Experience Squad in a building-and-closing role, expanding and iterating on a repeatable sales motion. The role is fully remote in the Americas time zones, with travel for conferences, customer visits, and team events.

In this role, you will

• Work high-intent inbound opportunities from segmented enterprise and high-growth accounts.
• Validate, iterate on, and scale early sales playbooks; run experiments across messaging, timing, and channels.
• Expand existing customers through relevant tiers and products, and help prevent churn by distinguishing accounts worth saving from natural lifecycle churn.
• Bring customer learnings back to product, marketing, and success, and document them for the team’s playbook.

You will be a great fit if you

• Have built a new role, team, function, or process without a finished playbook.
• Are customer-obsessed and comfortable with technical infrastructure engineers and newer developers.
• Use hypotheses, tests, measurements, and iteration to learn from customer conversations.
• Document and share work, can discuss infrastructure, APIs, and email deliverability, and care about the craft of sales.
• Are comfortable traveling to conferences, prospect on-sites, and team events.

Compensation: $160,000–$220,000 USD OTE (base + variable), commensurate with experience.
