Server API Developer

The developer will join the team to maintain and add new features to a REST-based API for clients across multiple platforms. The company’s platform serves as a home to millions of digital collectors. It offers licensed digital collectibles from some of the world’s most beloved brands. This is a nice opportunity for developers to work in an ecosystem of NFTs and other blockchain features to define, build, and ship products at scale. It is a full-time opportunity that requires a minimum overlap of 6 hours with the EST time zone.

Job Responsibilities:

• Maintain and add new features to the REST-based API for multiple clients and the digital collectibles application
• Write scalable, robust, efficient, and maintainable code
• Collaborate with engineering professionals and product teams 
• Work independently without a lot of hand-holding
• Implement data protection practices

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• At least 3+ years of experience working as a server-side API developer
• Highly proficient in Golang 1.13 or above
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL and advanced SQL queries
• Good understanding of REST API architecture
• Solid knowledge of cloud infrastructure, such as AWS
• Prior experience working with concurrency and dealing with scalability bottlenecks
• Must be fluent in English
