Staff Frontend Engineer

What You Will Do 

As a Staff Frontend Engineer, you will join our globally distributed team to shape and elevate Cint’s Measurement, Survey Platform, and Design System experiences. Your mission is to craft high-quality, scalable user interfaces that power our core research products delivering intuitive experiences for our customers while also enabling internal teams to move faster with confidence.

You will be a product-oriented and platform UI engineer, taking full ownership of the end-to-user experience. This includes partnering closely with UX designers, product managers, and fellow engineers to understand customer and stakeholder needs for both external user-facing products and internal products like our survey platform and design systems.

Responsabilities:

• Partner closely with Product Managers and UX designers to deliver polished, user-centric experiences and support product rollouts.
• Create scalable and maintainable frontend components, while enhancing and extending our shared Design System.
• Monitor and optimize application performance, resolving bottlenecks proactively.
• Lead cross-team technical initiatives, set architectural direction, and ensure alignment on frontend strategy across the organization.
• Proactively shape engineering practices, propose improvements, and influence standards adopted by multiple teams.
• Advocate for and document best practices in frontend development.
• Own and architect systems or product areas end-to-end, designing solutions that scale across multiple teams and business domains.
• Build strong cross-functional relationships to ensure smooth collaboration and alignment.
• Write clean, modular, and maintainable code that stands the test of time.
• Continuously improve and refactor existing codebases for reliability and efficiency.
• Take responsibility for production systems through on-call rotations, ensuring stability and fast incident resolution.
• Mentor and sponsor engineers at all levels, building future technical leaders and spreading best practices throughout the company.
• Anticipate organizational and architectural challenges, define long-term strategies, and drive adoption of solutions that improve scalability, reliability, and developer experience across Cint.

What We Are Looking For 

• 7+ years of software engineering experience, including significant time driving cross-team technical initiatives and architectural decisions.
• Highly proficient in Next.js 14+ (App Router), including expertise in data caching strategies and performance optimization.
• Demonstrates proficiency in various UI rendering architectures (SSR, CSR, SSG, ISR) and the ability to determine their appropriate application.
• A proven expertise in designing and implementing robust UI solutions using TypeScript, with a strong focus on applying comprehensive typing throughout the stack to deliver maintainable and highly reliable user experiences.
• Proficiency in breaking down product documents and abstracts into well-defined feature epics and user stories, driving features from concept to reality promptly.
• Experience with CSS and Tailwind, and in working with Figma and internal design systems.
• Track record of building reliable, performant systems and establishing testing and quality practices adopted across teams.
• Demonstrates strong communication skills, capable of articulating complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven ability to define and drive technical standards across multiple teams or product lines, aligning stakeholders and ensuring adoption.
• Experience balancing trade-offs between technical debt, speed, and long-term scalability in a way that advances organizational goals.
