Rain is seeking a strategic and hands-on Principal Product Marketing Manager to drive go-to-market strategy, messaging, and positioning for our innovative financial wellness platform. This role is critical in shaping how we communicate our product value, differentiate from competitors, and support scalable growth across new and existing verticals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define target customer segments and develop detailed buyer personas based on market research and customer insights.
  • Conduct ongoing market analysis to identify trends, opportunities and competitor advantages.
  • Develop differentiated messaging and value propositions: Craft compelling narratives that clearly articulate product benefits, address customer pain points, and support entry into new verticals and partnerships.
  • Develop marketing collateral including product sheets, case studies, whitepapers and decks.
  • Collaborate with the rest of the marketing team to develop thought leadership, abm campaigns and success stories.
  • Ensure consistent messaging across websites, advertising, events and other marketing materials.
  • Support product launches: Collaborate with Product, Sales, and Enablement teams to develop and execute go-to-market plans that accelerate adoption and revenue of new features/products.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years in a product marketing role, with a proven track record of driving successful product positioning and go-to-market execution.
  • Experience in Webflow or other CMS and marketing automation is a plus
  • Excellent written skills
  • Experience developing and executing go to market strategies
  • Excellent communication skills to align cross-functional teams and drive shared objectives
  • Experience in B2B marketing and ideally B2B2C marketing
  • Familiarity with AI-powered marketing tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Gong) to support competitive analysis, content creation, messaging refinement, and sales enablement.
