Core Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition & Employer Brand
- Design and own a global recruiting engine for engineering, product, design, and business roles.
- Partner with leadership to define hiring plans aligned with growth goals.
- Strengthen Proximity’s employer brand in AI, sports-tech, and media-tech talent ecosystems.
Culture & Engagement
- Champion Proximity’s values globally, ensuring they are lived, not just written.
- Design initiatives to foster inclusion, engagement, and cross-office cohesion.
- Lead global all-hands, culture-building programs, and recognition frameworks.
Performance & Growth
- Implement scalable OKR, feedback, and performance review systems.
- Partner with leaders to build career pathways and growth plans for all roles.
- Create learning & development programs that build both leadership and technical skills.
Global People Operations
- Oversee HR operations across the US, UAE, and India, ensuring smooth onboarding, benefits, payroll, and compliance.
- Partner with finance/legal on contracts, visa processes, and cross-border mobility.
- Implement HR tech stack and analytics dashboards to track key people metrics.
Executive Partnering
- Advise the CEO and leadership team on organizational design, talent strategy, and succession planning.
- Act as a trusted confidant and problem-solver for leaders and employees alike.
Requirements
What Makes You a Great Fit
- 5–12+ years in People Ops/HR leadership roles in high-growth, global tech or consulting companies.
- Experience scaling teams across multiple geographies with different cultural and legal contexts.
- Proven track record in hiring exceptional talent at speed, especially in competitive markets.
- Strong understanding of HR systems, analytics, and compliance frameworks.
- Natural culture builder with high EQ, communication skills, and trust-building ability.
Bonus Points
- Experience in AI, sports-tech, media-tech, or product-led services companies.
- Ex-founder or early-stage builder who understands scale-up challenges.
- Expertise in cross-border talent mobility and remote-first/global hybrid environments.
