Who You Are
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or related field.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (Spanish is an additional plus, but not required) to collaborate with business and technical areas both within and outside of Bitso.
- 2-5+ years of product management leadership experience directly managing and onboarding product managers.
- 5+ years of experience in product with a proven track record of successfully launching and scaling financial tech products.
- Demonstrated experience in the Fintech or Crypto industry, with focus on payments ramps, is highly preferred.
- Experience managing high-volume, revenue-generating products is essential.
- Strong understanding the financial industry
- Knowledge and sensibility toward financial regulations and compliance requirements.
- Strong understanding of both fiat and crypto ramps and the financial flows including reconciliation.
- Solid grasp of software development processes and methodologies like agile or shape-up.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques (e.g., SQL, Looker, DataDog, Amplitude, etc).
- Sufficient technology knowledge and context to work with engineering teams.
What You Will Do
- Product Vision: Develop and articulate a clear vision aligned with the company's overall objectives aligning closely with both the Bitso Business and Retail business units, alongside a clear strategy for the ramps within Operations.
- Strategy Development: Work with all stakeholders and other product and engineering leadership to craft and execute a comprehensive product strategy for our crypto and fiat ramps which is also aligned with the company’s objectives and focusing first on the needs of customers as well as delivering high quality products.
- Stakeholder Management: Communicate product plans, progress, and results to key stakeholders, including executive leadership.
- Roadmap Management: Identify, prioritize, and manage the product roadmap, ensuring timely delivery of high-impact features and enhancements, taking full ownership of the life-cycle, from ideation to launch, iterations, and sunsets. This includes complete alignment and prioritization between Operations objectives and enabling Retail and Bitso Business roadmaps as well.
- User Focus: Deeply understand user needs and behaviors through collaboration with our business units (both retail and Bitso Business), data analysis, market insights, behavioral experimentation, and benchmarking from the market to make informed product decisions and create a focused strategy.
- Market Analysis: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes in the crypto and LATAM fiat space to identify opportunities and mitigate risks within our payments ramps.
- Data-Driven Decisions: Utilize data and analytics tools to measure product performance, benchmark competitive trends, identify areas for improvement, drive continuous optimization and integrate models while aligning with our business units.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration and Team Leadership: Effectively collaborate with engineering, design, marketing, data science, compliance, customer support, regulatory, fraud, and other relevant enablement areas and business units to ensure seamless product development and launch.
